Our ideal candidate is a motivated, enthusiastic, and highly organized individual with a strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn. This person will work on a team implementing a cutting-edge asset management software solution (EAM/CMMS) for high profile clients across the globe. Regular communication with project team members, as well as clients, requires this person to be an excellent verbal and written communicator.  

This position is full-time in our Sacramento, CA office and will report to the President. 

JOB DUTIES

Data Analysis:

You love spreadsheets, databases, and diving deep into data sets until you gain a thorough understanding of how asset data (trucks, pipes, buildings) is best organized and cleaned.  Once the data is perfect, you will migrate it using tools inherent in the system and then review it with the customer until it’s right.  You understand data mapping and data hygiene are and can accurately accomplish these tasks.

Business Analysis: 

You understand the notion of user groups and swim lanes, even if you have not served as a business analyst before.  You are comfortable working with groups of folks from all different levels in an organization, and you can clearly present your recommendations for optimized workflows when using our software.

Configuration Guru: 

Tired of standing on the sidelines while everyone else gets to have fun playing with the software?  This job won’t disappoint as you work with our clients to understand the best way to configure our software to meet their business needs, which you have no problem recommending because you are an expert in our proprietary product.  After configuring the site, your keen eye for detail will ensure you successfully test and validate a system that is ready to hand off to our next happy client.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 0-3 years of experience in project coordination (this is an entry-level position, any experience you bring is a plus!)  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal staff and external customers 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook) 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines 
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given 
  • Highly organized 

Preferred: 

  • Possesses knowledge of municipal utilities and/or public works 
  • Knowledge of relationship databases 

Salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience.
