Our established and reputable organization is seeking an experienced business development professional to join our team and accelerate our planned short and long-term growth objectives. The Business Development Manager will be accountable for establishing new B2B relationships and the growth of top strategic accounts. and will occupy a key position, reporting directly to the company’s COO.

Duties & Accountabilities

Establish New Accounts:

• Identify and engage prospective clients in alignment with Monona PFP’s target market.
• Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients.
• Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and industry events.

Grow Key Existing Accounts:

• Collaborate with department managers to identify opportunities within existing accounts and grow revenues.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow revenues from key existing accounts.
• Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create effective sales campaigns and achieve revenue targets.

Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years of verifiable business development success in the Southern Wisconsin market.
• Strong understanding of contracting services (i.e. plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection markets) and industry trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build strong client relationships with a consultative sales approach.
• Results-oriented with a track record of establishing new accounts and growing existing accounts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a related field.

Salary Range

$90,000-$100,000 base + commission plan
