Icon V is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to kick-start their career in event management and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the planning and execution of a variety of events, ranging from corporate gatherings to large-scale community festivals. You will work closely with experienced event coordinators and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of event organization, logistics, and client engagement

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of various events and activities.
• Support event logistics, including venue selection, setup, and breakdown.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and products.
• Help manage guest lists and RSVPs to ensure accurate attendance records.
• Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth execution and address any issues that may arise.
• Conduct research for event topics, themes, and potential speakers or entertainers.
• Assist in the preparation of event materials, including brochures, agendas, and signage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A genuine passion for events and a desire to learn about the industry.
