IT Manager

Zadok Jewelers is seeking a seasoned IT professional to join our staff in a full-time in-person IT Manager role in our Houston store.

Zadok Jewelers is a family-owned and operated jewelry store in the heart of Houston’s Galleria area for over 47 years. Our new location carries 25 of the world’s finest timepiece brands (Cartier, Jaeger Le-Coultre, IWC, Omega, Vacheron Constantin to name a few), as well as over 25 of the best names in fine jewelry including Pomellato, Roberto Coin, Mikimoto, Zadok Collection and a large bridal salon offering loose diamonds, engagement rings and wedding bands. Zadok Jewelers is a one-stop shop with on-premise service, repair, appraisals and custom-made jewelry.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
• Lead IT project, including system upgrades, migrations or new technology integrations
• Configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with developers to implement fixes
• Maintain security, backup and redundancy strategies
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Identify technology needs of new hires and existing personnel and implement appropriate solutions
• Provide technical support to staff, addressing any IT related queries or issues promptly
• Develop and maintain user guides and documentation for IT system and processes

Requirements

• Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools
• Proficiency in web design, email design, advertising creative, and overall graphic design production across a variety of media
• Excellent visual design and communication skills
• Keen eye for detail and a understanding the aesthetic of a luxury look and feel
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in the IT field
• Strong knowledge of networks, microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
• Ability to set up new workstations including under the desk mounting of cords
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent logic and problem solving skills
