Job Summary:

DFW Sarcoma is seeking full-time Physician Assistant to join their elite team. Dr. Maale specializes in complex reconstruction of joints that have failed from previous surgeries, with a high percentage of limb salvage.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant Master’s Program
  • Certified as National Commissioned Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) required
  • Texas License 
  • Experience is valuable but quick learners without experience can be mentored
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and positive attitude are important
Job Duties:
  • Full time Mon – Fri schedule
  • This role would include both first assist in the OR as well as clinic
  • Must be able to frequently use tools up to 20lbs in the OR
  • Plan treatment and document using Meditech EMR and Centricity Clinic EMR
  • Obtains medical history and physical exam from patients
  • Analyze and implement plan for patient care based on above information gathered information eventually in independent fashion with physician available for supervision / discussion
  • Maintains complete and accurate records of contacts with patients whether in person or by phone
