We are looking for a Merchandiser/Chain Stocker for the SLO/Atascadero/Paso Robles area. Under the direction of the Sales Supervisor, our Merchandiser/Chain Stockers work with the sales team to build and replenish displays with our beverage products. Stocking the warm shelfs and cold box in retail stores with product from the back room or current delivery. This role utilizes hand-trucks, merchandising carts, or pallet-jacks to move product to the front of the store. 

What Will You be Doing?

• Merchandise store, coolers, and displays with products in assigned accounts
• Ensure proper rotation of code dates
• Transport products to and from back room to shelf location using equipment (e.g., U Boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Display signs, banners, and other promotional materials in assigned accounts
• Keep back room stocked and in neat an orderly condition
• Build and maintain customer relationships through excellent customer service

Job Information

• Full-time position / 40 hours per week; with opportunity of overtime
• Early morning schedule, starting around 5:00am
• Holidays and weekends are mandatory
• Current Employee Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00 plus mileage reimbursement at 67 cents per mile 

What Experience, Skills, and Attributes Will You Need to Be Successful?

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a personal vehicle to access multi-store locations within assigned route (standard Federal mileage rate reimbursement, 67 cents per mile)
• Must show proof of insurance within company guidelines
• Able to lift, load, push and pull beverage cases repeatedly
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical exam, and background check
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage priorities
