About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Program Manager II to work directly with clients in managing and operating their supply chain compliance and transparency programs. In this role, you will oversee all operational activities for assigned programs, ensuring effective communication with internal teams and providing updates to clients. You will manage daily staff assignments, track program deliverables, and adhere to timelines.
The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. You should possess project management knowledge to recognize potential challenges and initiate appropriate corrective actions. Coordination of program activities with other project participants is key to ensuring that customer requirements are met. Occasional travel may be required.
What You'll Do
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, and manage the operational and management aspects of multiple programs.
- Develop and maintain program timelines to ensure the timely completion of contracted deliverables.
- Attend and lead client meetings, fostering positive relationships and a thorough understanding of each client's program.
- Ensure the successful completion of assigned projects, upholding high professional standards for project deliverables.
- Analyze, manage, and produce program data reports.
- Create presentations and materials for program-related events.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to nurture relationships, loyalty, and retention.
- Coordinate client meetings and assist in resolving project-related issues.
- Participate in employee education, training, and awareness initiatives.
- Engage in strategic planning activities relevant to program delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding managed services delivery.
- Oversee a portfolio of clients, ensuring their progress and satisfaction.
- Provide reports and updates to customers and lead the onboarding process, including initial software training.
- Hold recurring meetings with clients to discuss program status and develop and adhere to project timelines.
- Advise customers on medium complexity compliance questions.
- Complete Source Intelligence Product Compliance certifications as required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in policy, business, environmental sciences, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant project management experience, ideally in an external-facing role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading multiple projects.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including database management and data presentation; familiarity with formulas and pivot tables is preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong judgment, decision-making capabilities, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Proficient presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior management using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external clients.
- Capacity to juggle competing needs effectively.
- High degree of self-motivation, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Alignment with the organization's culture, mission, and goals.
