Job Description

Through our partnership with the National Institutes of Health, Kelly Government Solutions offers administrative, IT, engineering, scientific, and healthcare professionals the opportunity to work with the leading medical research center in the world. We are seeking a Scientific Program Analyst to work at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD

This is a long-term contract position which offers:

TASKS/SERVICES . The contractor shall:

  1. Develop and maintain detailed project plans for scientific grants, policies, programs, and funding.

  2. Read, interpret, analyze and condense material from a variety of sources for presentation.

  3. Identify and develop tractable metrics for data collection and portfolio analysis

  4. Organizes meetings and writes about ORWH activities, as appropriate

  5. Track action items and tasks; provide deadline reminders to staff; maintain spreadsheets of relevant information for grants, contracts and other programs.

  6. Handle communication of multi-matrixed organization and processes.

  7. Coordinates risks and assures progress is made and identifies to leadership issues and potential risks including missed or delayed deadlines.

  8. Updating senior management on project progress, including assisting with analysis to support data-driven decision making.

  9. Remain knowledgeable of NIH data, data infrastructure, and information requirements

  10. Develop, update, and maintain information databases (e.g. SharePoint sites); provide document retrieval support.

REQUIREMENTS . The contractor must have:

  1. Master’s Degree in Political Science & Government and/or related fields

  2. Project Management Professional (PMP)

  3. Experience with writing Reports & Agendas

  4. Experience with Software such as: Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), Statistical Analysis System (SAS), Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint
