Scientific Program Analyst to work at the National Institutes of Health in
Bethesda, MD This is a long-term contract position which offers:

TASKS/SERVICES . The contractor shall:
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans for scientific grants, policies, programs, and funding.
- Read, interpret, analyze and condense material from a variety of sources for presentation.
- Identify and develop tractable metrics for data collection and portfolio analysis
- Organizes meetings and writes about ORWH activities, as appropriate
- Track action items and tasks; provide deadline reminders to staff; maintain spreadsheets of relevant information for grants, contracts and other programs.
- Handle communication of multi-matrixed organization and processes.
- Coordinates risks and assures progress is made and identifies to leadership issues and potential risks including missed or delayed deadlines.
- Updating senior management on project progress, including assisting with analysis to support data-driven decision making.
- Remain knowledgeable of NIH data, data infrastructure, and information requirements
- Develop, update, and maintain information databases (e.g. SharePoint sites); provide document retrieval support.
REQUIREMENTS . The contractor must have:
- Master’s Degree in Political Science & Government and/or related fields
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience with writing Reports & Agendas
- Experience with Software such as: Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), Statistical Analysis System (SAS), Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint
