Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior Accountant who is looking for a challenging accounting leader role in a fast-growing SaaS company. This Senior Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day operations and plays a key role in MTech’s finance team, if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities with precision and a keen analytical eye we encourage you to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing, prepare journal entries, reconcile inter-company transactions, review account balances, and report in the parent company’s consolidation system.
• Supervise and assist closing activities performed by the team members.
• Provide accounting guidance on the daily accounting activities performed by the team members.
• Prepare internal control documentation and respond to quarterly internal control questionnaire required by the parent company.
• Prepares requested documents and assists internal and external audits.
• Process accounts payable transactions and enter the transactions on the company’s credit card.
• Improves accounting and operational processes.
• Own full closing process.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree in accounting or equivalent
• CPA or CPA track preferred.
• 3+ years of work experience in corporate accounting
• Strong working knowledge in US GAAP or IFRS, including full understanding on financial statements, income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
• Excellent work ethics, strong attention to detail and commitment to meet deadlines
• Possess an intuitive and numbers-focused skill set with sharp critical thinking skills
• Strong technical, analytical, communications, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. Advanced Excel skills are a must
• Experience in financial audit
• Ability to take initiative to move projects forward and identify opportunities for process improvements
